Inauguration

This is a historic day, because this is the first black president ever to be sworn into office. I am excited to see what his first term will bring for our country. Hopefully he can prevent our economy from getting worse, but what is most important is that he gets us out of this mess. I wish the president good luck, and I am going to support him 100 percent.

Secret Gone Bad

One day my friend and I were talking when he told me a secret about someone that was not nice at all. He told me to keep the secret, so I kept my word. When this person became aware of the secret he wanted to know what it was, but I couldn't tell him. I was put in the middle of a potential huge conflict! This definitely was not a good situation, and now I needed to make a decision. In order to solve this, I invited both of the kids over to hangout but they thought it was only one of them going to my house. When they got there, I told them to work it out, because not only did I not want to be in the middle of this mess, but they were friends and I didn't want them to ruin their friendship. After they worked it out we all hung out at my house. I hate secrets because they ruin friendships and make people feel uncomfortable.

The Scarlett Letter

So far Hester has proven to extremely strong emotionally. She has overcome humiliation and still takes care of Pearl. Dimmsdale, who was Hester's lover, is being mentally tortured by Chillingsworth. He has an "A" branded on his chest, but no one knows it, except Chillingsworth. The language is still very hard to understand, but the plot is pretty good.

NY Resolution

My New Year's resolution is to improve my study habits. I want to improve my grades and in order to do that, study habits must get better. I will need to stay on task more, and I must make time to do this too.
