I think people today value their education as much as Sara Smolinsky because some are still in the same position as she was in. Some people are not as lucky as we are, and depend on academic success to build a future. They are plenty of people who are as dedicated as Sara is in the classroom because they understand that academics are the path for life. Most students on the other hand take their education for granted, because they refuse to believe that they could go through failure. This is untrue and for most, they believe success is automatically given to them.
This year is a turning point for me, and I am not going to lie, I really took my education for granted. My mom and dad have motivated me to appreciate my education because it is the stepping stone in leading a happy life.
